Play-time is certainly the most important time of all. I do lots of things for fun, but the main thing is historical recreation. It gives me a chance to mix costuming, acting, dancing, singing, socializing and sweating all into one day.
I work at the Northern and Southern Renaissance Pleasure Faires in California; the former in Novato and the latter in San Bernardino. When they happen, I also like to work Dicken's Fairs and other Victorian recreation events.
